1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Forecourt Prices (forecourtprices.co.uk), you agree to these terms of service. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the site.

2. What the service is

Forecourt Prices is a free tool that displays UK petrol and diesel prices, aggregated from the UK Government's Fuel Finder scheme, to help you compare fuel prices at nearby stations. It's provided for general informational purposes only.

3. No guarantee on price accuracy

Prices shown on this site are self-reported by fuel retailers directly to the Fuel Finder feed — we don't set, verify, or independently check them, and we import that feed on a schedule described on our data sources page. As a result, prices, opening hours and other station details may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date at any given moment. You should always treat the price displayed at the pump as the final, correct price, and we accept no responsibility for any loss arising from reliance on prices or information shown on this site.

4. Acceptable use

When using this site, you agree not to:

• Use bots, scrapers, crawlers or other automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data, pages or content from the site, without our prior written consent;
• Copy, republish, or redistribute our compiled price data, or any substantial part of it, for commercial or public use elsewhere;
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems;
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

If you'd like to use our data at scale — for research, a competing tool, or anything beyond normal browsing — please get in touch first. Note that the underlying Fuel Finder feed itself is separately available, direct from gov.uk, under the Open Government Licence (see section 5) — these terms only govern scraping our site.

5. Intellectual property

The Forecourt Prices name, site design, and underlying software are our property or that of our licensors. Underlying fuel price and station data is sourced from the UK Government's Fuel Finder scheme under the Open Government Licence v3.0, and map data from OpenStreetMap contributors, each remaining subject to their own respective licences.

6. Third-party links and services

The site may link to, or rely on, third-party websites and services (for example, gov.uk, OpenStreetMap, or individual fuel retailers). We don't control these third parties and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.

7. Advertising

Forecourt Prices is supported by advertising, which helps keep the site free to use. Adverts are served by third-party providers such as Google AdSense, subject to your cookie consent choices — see our privacy policy for details.

8. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including reliance on any price or information displayed on it. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we do, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes relating to them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
